It rained almost all day today, which is very nice for a change. It’s so rare that we get real rain here in California. I like the grey weather and feeling cozy inside. Michelle T made a fire in the wood stove. I made breakfast, eggs and toast and then got some work done on the computer, bills paid, etc. I drank coffee today which gets me sort of in a very driven mood. If I drink too much I feel like I’m going to bounce off of the walls. Lea and I made a dinner of leftover pasta, artichokes and a really nice salad with lots of stuff in it. After we all ate Lea, Michelle and I watched the first half of Gandhi. It’s good so far. We’re planning on watching the rest tomorrow. I took a hot bath and am ready for bed now. It’s already 39 degrees outside. It will probably freeze. I turned off the water to the sprinklers a few nights ago so hopefully i won’t have more damage to those. I don’t think I’ll cover them this year. Doesn’t seem to do much good anyway. I unscrewed the cap on one of the valves. I would’ve done the rest but I can’t seem to budge them.
